Expanding on the commemorations, the Pau Casals Foundation and the Instituto Cervantes have launched ‘Casals 150: music for peace’. This global program, supported by the Spanish government and the Generalitat of Catalonia, includes over 200 activities to highlight Casals' legacy as a musician and humanist. Planned events include a concert by the London Philharmonic Orchestra in Madrid and various activities across the Instituto Cervantes international network, such as in Rome. Additionally, the National Assembly of Catalonia will organize a tribute in Sant Feliu de Guíxols on October 9 to honor both Casals and Antoni Gaudí.
