A temporary compensation benefit for teachers hired to teach Ukrainian refugees will end on 31 August 2026, forcing about 9 200 beneficiaries to resign or lose the monthly 4 475 zł payment.

Meanwhile, the Gmina Kutno is investing nearly 300 000 zł in summer upgrades—thermal modernisation, drainage, toilet refurbishments and a new secretariat—to improve learning conditions for the September term.
