Romania energy stability and Metrorex debt management

Regarding industrial stability, the Ministry of Energy has denied reports of imminent industrial disconnections. Officials clarified that large consumers are notified of potential limitations 24 hours in advance as a preventive measure to protect the national grid.

Efforts to enhance energy resilience include the promotion of storage solutions. Beyond previous discussions regarding mandates for battery storage in new photovoltaic installations, the government is promoting the ‘Casa Verde Baterii’ program, which aims to provide funding for prosumers to acquire battery systems.
