At their 1118th weekly protest, the group marked the period ahead of the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances on August 30. During their 1119th vigil, the group demanded justice for Fethi Ildır, an 18-year-old forcibly disappeared in 1993 in Şırnak province. Witnesses and family accounts suggest Ildır was detained by individuals allegedly linked to the Hizbullah organization while traveling from İdil to Cizre. Although official records initially denied his detention, his body was discovered on September 19, 1993, near the Cizre-İdil highway with signs of severe torture.
