Management via HYBE x Geffen Records confirmed that Laforteza will be unable to participate in upcoming promotions. While the group intends to proceed with projects such as the EP ‘Wild’ and the documentary ‘KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS’, Laforteza expressed heartbreak over missing commitments but noted the necessity of the decision for long-term career sustainability.

Laforteza is the second member of the group to take a health-related hiatus this year, following Manon Bannerman. Consequently, the group is currently operating with four active performers: Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung.

As the hiatus continues, it has impacted the group’s live performances. Laforteza missed the Hinterland Music Festival in the United States and the documentary premiere in Los Angeles. Additionally, agencies confirmed she will not participate in the European and British legs of ‘THE WILDWORLD TOUR’, which runs from September 1 in Dublin through September 17. While the group is scheduled to continue touring North America in October and November, management has not yet confirmed if Laforteza will rejoin for those dates. HYBE and Geffen Records stated they are “fully committed to providing all the support and resources necessary” for her long-term health.
