Koji Mukai of Snow Man co-stars as Ikuru Ichinose, a teacher who discovers the protagonist’s secret. Jutaro Yamanaka of M!LK has been cast as Reiji Majima, a resilient second-year teacher. Motoki Ohmori, vocalist and guitarist of Mrs. GREEN APPLE, will also play a significant, undisclosed role that drives the story forward.

In recent developments, singer MISIA has been selected to perform the drama’s theme song, titled ‘Sayonarabakka’. Written and composed by Eno Kawatani, the track is described as a ‘poignant love song depicting fading memories amidst changing seasons’. This marks MISIA’s first TBS drama theme song in approximately eight years. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting on October 13.
