This specific phase of the campaign was a collaborative effort involving the Leipzig Health Department, Leipziger Sportbäder, Deutsche Krebshilfe, and the ADP. Officials noted that outdoor pools are particularly effective for health promotion because they reach many families, children, and young people. The project remains active in over 80 municipalities across twelve federal states, aiming to mitigate health risks associated with increased UV exposure and climate change.
