Vande Bharat Express expansion in Gujarat

Overview

The Vande Bharat Express service in Gujarat has seen recent expansions and route adjustments. In mid-August, the Sabarmati-Veraval service began operating via a new Gandhigram-Botad route, replacing the previous alignment through Viramgam, Surendranagar, and Rajkot to provide more direct connectivity to the Saurashtra region.

This service, which will operate six days a week, replaces the existing Udaipur City-Asarva Vande Bharat Express.
