In August 2026, the Odyssey made a historic overnight stay in Nha Trang Bay, Vietnam, carrying nearly 300 international passengers. This marked the first time a five-star cruise ship stayed overnight in the bay for tourism purposes, excluding weather-related stays. The extended visit, which included transfers to the Ana Marina International Marina, is viewed as a step toward a “home-porting” model for Khanh Hoa province, potentially boosting local tourism revenue through increased use of onshore services.
