Water supply maintenance disruptions

Meanwhile, municipal crews in Caxias do Sul continued drainage‑gallery work to avoid traffic disruption when schools reopened, and Brusque performed underground pipeline reinforcement on three streets ahead of expected heavy rains. In the Região dos Lagos, the Juturnaíba treatment plant was serviced, potentially reducing supply to several coastal towns; residents were advised to keep inlet valves open, conserve water and expect tankers for essential services, with full restoration taking up to 48 hours.
