In Castilla y León, the regional government is seeking central government support for restoration in the Tiétar and Alberche valleys, while in the Bierzo region, local platforms have questioned if the 500,000 euros allocated for hydrological-forestry works is sufficient to recover 1,300 hectares of burned land.

Prevention efforts continue to expand through specialized projects. The Proyecto Mosaico, developed by the University of Extremadura, is being reactivated in Sierra de Gata and Las Hurdes to utilize agricultural and livestock activities to reduce fuel loads. Furthermore, in Galicia, virtual grazing technology with native livestock is being employed to manage vegetation and create natural firebreaks.
