Yugo ide u Ameriku documentary expands to Croatia

The film follows a group of millennials on a 10,000-kilometer road trip from New York to Los Angeles in a vintage Yugo, an iconic socialist-era automobile. The narrative explores the history of the Yugo’s attempt to enter the American market in the 1980s, serving as a nostalgic exploration of identity and youth. During the 50-day journey across approximately 25 US states, the filmmakers encountered mechanical issues that were frequently resolved with assistance from people of Bosnian descent.
