Institutional expansion and recruitment are active across the country. The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) has approved two new dentistry residency programs in Dental Prosthesis – Surgical Clinic and Endodontics to enhance specialized care within the Unified Health System (SUS).

Several medical and multiprofessional institutions have initiated selection processes for 2027. HNSC is accepting applications for seven specialties, including Anesthesiology and General Surgery, through October 19. In Curitiba, Hospital Universitário Cajuru is offering 69 vacancies across 19 specialties, with an application deadline of September 21.

In Pernambuco, Asces-Unita has announced 61 vacancies for 24-month multiprofessional and uniprofessional residencies, including fields such as Basic Care/Family Health, Cancer Care, and Obstetric Nursing. These programs offer monthly stipends of R$ 4,106.09, with applications open until November 6. Additionally, Hospital Angelina Caron has opened applications for its 2027 Medical Residency, offering 19 programs ranging from General Surgery to Nephrology. The hospital emphasizes a ‘hands-on’ training approach, with applications accepted until December 3.
