On the executive level, Decree No. 13.092/2026 authorized R$ 270 million in subsidies for independent sugarcane producers in the Northeast region. This measure addresses losses from extreme weather and United States tariffs on Brazilian exports, providing R$ 12 per ton of sugarcane sold.
