On September 24, the Accra High Court denied Baffoe’s bail application, ruling that her release could pose a risk of interference with witnesses or the digital investigation. On September 30, the court adjourned the case to October 5, 2026, due to the Association of Judges and Magistrates Conference.
On October 11, the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) pledged continued legal and welfare support for Baffoe. During a visit to Baffoe in the Bono Region, GRNMA National President Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo reaffirmed the association’s commitment to providing legal representation. Ofori-Ampofo noted that while the allegations are unrelated to Baffoe’s professional nursing duties, the association will assist her through the judicial process.
