Dyson hair-care product launches

Dyson announced two new hair-care products, the Corrale CoolShine straightener and the Airsmooth dryer brush, during the Dyson Unveiled event at IFA 2026. The Corrale CoolShine features water-filled cooling pipes to reduce residual heat exposure, while the Airsmooth is designed to combine drying technology with a brush attachment using an intelligent heat-control system.

Following the announcement, Dyson launched the Airsmooth hot air brush. The device utilizes a patented dual-bristle system, including PivotFlex and Anti-snag bristles, to dry, straighten, and style hair. The tool features a teardrop-shaped cylindrical head intended to increase hair contact and improve volume at the roots.

Positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Dyson Airwrap, the Airsmooth retails for approximately $249 or 249 euros in certain markets, though it lacks the specific curling technology found in the Airwrap. To protect hair health, the brush incorporates thermal sensors that measure airflow temperature up to 100 times per second to prevent extreme heat damage. The initial release is available in a Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold colorway.
