In response to these disparities, the Super League Greece has approved a proposal by Panathinaikos owner Giannis Alafouzos to assess the development of a central management model for television, internet, and other broadcasting rights. While the proposal passed with 11 votes to exclude commerciality from the initial study phase, Olympiacos, PAOK, and Kalamata voted in favor of individualized assessments of each club’s commercial dynamics. Consultancy firms Deloitte and PwC have been tasked with conducting a study on this central management model.
