He is scheduled for his first official test on the Honda RC214V on December 1 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, focusing on riding position and tire adaptation.

In other roster changes, Luca Marini will join Tech3 Racing for the 2027 season, and Fermín Aldeguer has signed a two-year deal with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. Regarding the current LCR satellite team, reports on September 5 indicate that Brazilian rider Diogo Moreira is close to securing a promotion to the HRC factory team for 2027. Moreira’s case was strengthened by a 9th-place finish at the Aragon Grand Prix. If finalized, his LCR seat may be filled by Moto2 prospect David Alonso. Moreira noted that further progress depends on “significant technical advancements to the current Honda motorcycle package.”
