Similarly, industry observer Barry Pratama emphasized that the revision must prioritize legal certainty to attract investment and cautioned against placing excessive burdens on Pertamina through government assignments.

Concurrently, the SKK Migas Workers Union (SP SKK Migas) has elected Aldy Amir as its chairman for the 2026–2028 term. The union is seeking communication with the DPR RI to ensure workers' rights and job security are addressed during the legislative process.
