Iran automotive market price updates
Entities: Iran Khodro Company · Tara · Iran Khodro · TU5P engine · Arisan pickup
Overview
In mid‑July 2026 Iran’s two largest manufacturers, Iran Khodro and Saipa, released updated price lists that set current market benchmarks for a wide range of models. Earlier, in July 2025 the firms had issued price tables covering the Tara, Heym, Arisan pickup and Quick, and Iran Khodro announced a public‑sale programme for 600 dual‑fuel Arisan 2 pickups on the Tehran Stock Exchange (offered on 6 August 2025, delivery slated for 21 September 2026 at a base price of 1.35 billion toman). The company also unveiled a 2026 product roadmap, including a facelift for the Tara sedan with new lighting, digital cockpit and hybrid options, and a refreshed Peugeot 207. On 7 August 2025 both manufacturers posted market and dealer price tables via Ekhtesas‑24, confirming the July adjustments. Two days later Saipa’s Saina S model fell by about 1 million toman amid weak demand, while its dual‑fuel version dropped 5 million toman; production of the automatic Saina was halted, tightening supply. On 31 July 2026 daily price tables were again published. Iran Khodro’s lineup—including the Tara, Hima, Rana, Dena Plus and several Peugeot and Fiat variants—showed market prices from roughly 1.6 billion to 5.8 billion tomans. Saipa’s models, such as Quick, Atlas, Shahin, Zamiad, Changan, Citroën and Sina, were priced between about 1.0 billion and 2.6 billion tomans. A further release on 18 July 2026 confirmed these mid‑July figures, listing ARISAN pickups from about 1.6 billion IRR and top‑end HEYM models above 4.8 billion IRR, while Saipa’s table a day later covered QUICK through SAINA with dealer prices up to 2.6 billion IRR. On 5 August 2026 both firms issued a new price list for 14 Mordad 1405.
