Coastal enforcement by the Guardia Costiera has focused on reclaiming public space. Significant seizures of illegal beach equipment occurred across several regions, including the removal of approximately 6,000 m² of occupied land in Calabria, 500 items on Levagnole beach in Campania, and various umbrellas and deckchairs in Sicily and Sardinia. In Praia a Mare, seven unauthorized moorings were confiscated.

Economic and labor inspections have intensified. In the Tirreno Cosentino region, the Guardia di Finanza identified 28 individuals working without contracts and recorded numerous receipt irregularities. In Bari, authorities dismantled an organized labor exploitation scheme where seasonal workers, including lifeguards, were allegedly forced to return portions of their wages, resulting in effective hourly rates as low as 2 to 5 euros. Four individuals face charges of criminal association.

Additional operations have targeted consumer protection and maritime safety. In San Vito Lo Capo, over 17,000 counterfeit or non-compliant items were seized, including unauthorized branded products and jewelry lacking mandatory information. Maritime patrols in Porto Santo Stefano, Licata, and Porto Garibaldi have issued fines for speeding, unauthorized camping, and illegal fires. These coordinated efforts aim to protect public resources, ensure fair competition, and safeguard both workers and tourists during the peak season.
