However, service on the S6 line remains partially restricted due to construction for the new Milano Mind station. In September, disruptions shifted toward industrial action and scheduled maintenance. RFI scheduled extraordinary maintenance in the Milan rail hub for September 12 and 13, which caused changes to routes and schedules for high-speed and regional services, including Frecciarossa and Italo, with some services bypassing Milano Centrale. A 24-hour public transport strike organized by AL Cobas and Confial Trasporti is scheduled for October 9, 2026. This strike will affect ATM metros, buses, and trams, though service is expected to be guaranteed from opening until 09:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.
