Other notable achievements included a standing high jump of 2.88 meters, exceeding the human record of 2.45 meters.

While these feats highlight rapid progress in stride length and thermal management, technical limitations persist. Many high-speed robots struggled with deceleration, resulting in collisions, mechanical failures, or even fires after sprinting. The games also highlighted a widening gap between physical prowess and cognitive intelligence. While machines are becoming faster through improved motors and simulation-trained algorithms, they continue to struggle with unpredictable environments and complex, fine-motor tasks. New competition categories, such as plugging in cables or disposing of trash, were introduced to test these dexterity limits, emphasizing the ongoing need for a more capable ‘robotic brain’ to achieve true human-like versatility.
