The PNL has proposed Siegfried Mureșan for prime minister alongside USR and UDMR, though interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that the PNL refuses to enter a coalition with the PSD. Amid the deadlock, UDMR leader and interim Vice Prime Minister Tanczos Barna stated the party is willing to mediate but maintains a ‘red line’ against collaborating with the AUR party in any minority government.
