Beneficiaries can redeem the subsidy for a 13kg cylinder at approximately 25,000 accredited resellers. Redemption methods include the Bolsa Família chip card with a password, Caixa debit cards, a CPF with a validation code sent via SMS, or codes generated through the “Meu Social” or “Gás do Povo” mobile applications. The subsidy covers the full cost of the gas refill but does not include the cost of the cylinder itself or delivery fees.
