The Board must coordinate with the project consultant to finalize the handover. By October 2026, the government has reclaimed the site in Accra, with Minister Ayariga confirming the contractor was ordered to hand over the land. The site will remain under Ministry control while the Attorney-General reviews a forensic audit concerning expenditures from the previous administration of President Akufo-Addo. No further decisions regarding the site will be made until the Attorney-General provides advice based on those audit findings.
