Political figure Gildardo Real noted that the city has invested 5,365 million pesos in public works since 2021 without incurring additional debt. In his second government report, the Mayor highlighted significant advancements in security and infrastructure. Data indicated that the perception of insecurity in the city fell from 66.8% to 43.2% over five years. The administration reported a 26% drop in crime incidence and a 65.7% reduction in domestic violence cases. Security investments include 640 million pesos for 350 electric patrol cars, 1,000 surveillance cameras, 21 Immediate Response Centers, and the use of ‘EscuaDrones’ for aerial surveillance. Emergency response times were reduced from 40 to 5 minutes. Regarding infrastructure and economy, the administration reported a cumulative public works investment of 5,365.9 million pesos since 2021.
