IIT Madras GATE 2027 administration and registration

IIT Madras is organizing the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. Candidates can apply without a late fee until September 27, 2026, while an extended registration period including a late fee is available until October 5, 2026. For Indian nationals, registration through DigiLocker is mandatory, and applicants are advised to ensure their accounts are verified before starting. Security measures will include facial authentication and integration with DigiLocker. Results are expected to be announced on March 19, 2027.
