Weather warnings persist as the Meteorological Centre Srinagar predicts light to moderate rain and thundershowers through mid-August, with risks of flash floods, mudslides, and waterlogging. Commuters face ongoing single-lane stretches at Dalwas in Udhampur and between Marog and Kishtwar Pathar due to uneven surfaces and vehicle breakdowns.

By late August, the Traffic Police issued further advisories due to inclement weather and shooting stones. Movement of gas tankers remains restricted between 7 am and 3 pm, while inflammable material transport is permitted only between 5 pm and 5 am beyond Chenani. The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has extended warnings of hot, humid weather with rain spells through early September, noting that intense localized showers could trigger further landslides and flash floods.
