Overview

Bookstores have also been urged not to begin sales until official procedures are complete. By 26 August, acting Minister of Education and Science Hajrullah Çeku announced that negotiations with publishing houses were nearing completion and that subsidy values for parents should be determined within the day. The ministry has since finalized the textbook catalog and initiated subsidy transfers, with amounts for grades 1–9 ranging from €60 to €100 depending on the grade level.
