Poland security and defence contracts

In late July 2026 Poland began a series of agreements aimed at bolstering both civilian safety and military capability. A cooperation pact with state oil refiner ORLEN and the State Fire Service was signed to improve protection of critical infrastructure and enhance emergency response, while a separate accord with the Air Navigation Services Agency expanded radar data sharing between civilian and military authorities to better monitor the country’s airspace after recent Russian missile and drone activity.

A few weeks later, the Polish defence establishment announced contracts with domestic firms to support its armed forces. One deal provides long‑term servicing for the naval NSM‑CDS missile system, and another supplies mine‑recognition and engineering kits to army units. Together, these contracts extend Poland’s effort to maintain and equip its military hardware, complementing the earlier civilian‑military safety initiatives.

The two sets of agreements illustrate a coordinated push to reinforce Poland’s overall security posture, covering infrastructure protection, airspace surveillance, missile system upkeep, and mine‑clearance capabilities.
