High Commissioner Silas Nacanabo led a training workshop in Fada N’Gourma for community conflict prevention observatories to improve risk identification and peaceful resolution. Additionally, the Rassemblement des intelligences pour la souveraineté de l’Afrique (RISA) hosted a conference to enhance information sharing between the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the VDP, and local populations to support the reconquest of the Goulmou, Sirba, and Tapoa regions. On September 11, 2026, Minister of Security Mahamadou Sana launched ‘Koglego 2’, a large-scale security operation.
