Infrastructure work continues on other connections, including the completion of an 81.75-meter tunnel excavation to link the Line 2-Green Consolação station with the Line 4-Yellow Paulista station. This milestone marks the completion of 78% of the total project. To ensure the safety of surrounding structures, approximately 480 sensors and measuring instruments were installed to monitor seven nearby buildings in real time. The project utilized the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM), which emphasizes short advances followed by rapid structural lining. To facilitate the tunnel's path, five foundation piles from neighboring buildings were cut after their loads were transferred to other support points to maintain structural stability. Expansion efforts for Line 4-Yellow are also advancing, with a project to connect the capital to Taboão da Serra.
