In Badalona, communities at Ventós Mir and Badalona Port schools are protesting what they describe as “decades of institutional neglect,” citing the use of dilapidated prefabricated modules instead of permanent facilities. In Cerdanyola, families at La Sínia school have demonstrated to demand the restoration of a nursery group that was not offered during pre-registration. Meanwhile, in Sagunt, local officials report the public school system is at its limit due to a critical shortage of vacancies, and in Tarragona, approximately 500 teachers held a demonstration to demand improved working conditions and increased staffing.
