Verón-Punta Cana municipal status and urban management

Overview

The Verón-Punta Cana region is undergoing administrative and developmental shifts to manage growth. To address urban growth, the Council of Vocals recently approved RD$12 million for the construction of sidewalks and curbs from the Verón intersection to Los Manantiales. The council also approved a municipal risk management policy and the donation of land for an office for the Dominican Institute for Prevention and Protection (IDOPPRIL).
