He also attended the convocation of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, emphasizing the role of higher education in nation-building and the expansion of regional healthcare infrastructure.
In Meghalaya, the Vice-President laid foundation stones for five major infrastructure projects valued at approximately Rs 1,011 crore, including the New Shillong Water Supply Scheme Phase-II, a bridge over the Umngot River, and a 30-bedded AYUSH facility. During a session of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Radhakrishnan highlighted the impact of the ‘Act East’ policy and noted that the Union Budget allocated over Rs 6,800 crore to the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). In Manipur, he visited the INA Museum in Moirang to honor the Indian National Army’s role in the freedom struggle.
On September 27, Radhakrishnan conducted a one-day visit to Kerala. His itinerary included participating in the Vishwa Seva Dinam celebrations at Mata Amritanandamayi Math in Kollam to honor the 73rd birthday of Mata Amritanandamayi and launch humanitarian initiatives. He also served as the Chief Guest at the Graduation Day Ceremony for the Sree Uthradom Thirunal (SUT) Academy of Medical Sciences in Thiruvananthapuram.
