If the liquid vaccine inside the blisters makes skin contact, individuals should wash the area thoroughly with soap and water and seek medical advice.

To prevent accidental ingestion by domestic animals, pet owners are advised to keep cats indoors and dogs on leashes for 14 days following bait placement, as the vaccine is not intended for pets and may cause gastrointestinal issues.
