Argentine President Javier Milei has actively lobbied for the return of the Grand Prix, citing the nation's motorsport tradition and the rising profile of local driver Franco Colapinto. Local authorities, including Buenos Aires Chief of Government Jorge Macri, have emphasized that the circuit's modernization is a vital investment to secure high-level international events. Additionally, Ben Sulayem indicated that efforts are underway to bring the World Rally Championship back to the country, noting that ‘Argentina deserves it.’
