Diputación de Pontevedra infrastructure investments

Overview

The Diputación de Pontevedra continues to implement infrastructure and urban development projects through its ‘Plan Provincia Extraordinaria – Plan Extra’ and ‘+Provincia 2026-2027’ programs. Furthermore, a 400,000 euro allocation has been announced for capturing new routes in Peinador.

Under the ‘Plan Vía Depo’, President Luis López confirmed a new allocation of 550,000 euros for municipal road improvements across four municipalities. Covelo will receive 166,000 euros for infrastructure repairs, including drainage, sanitation, and paving. Nigrán has been allocated 122,000 euros for road safety and maintenance, including asphalt renewal and retaining wall reconstruction. Redondela will receive 145,000 euros to repair a collapsed slope on the Camiño da Milixosa and improve drainage, while Salceda de Caselas will receive approximately 110,000 euros for the widening and paving of three municipal roads.
