Additionally, the government has proposed significant reductions in Enova funding for the 2027 state budget. Specifically, the portion of the Climate and Energy Fund earmarked for energy measures in private households is proposed to drop from 590 million to 390 million NOK. Climate and Energy Minister Sigrun Aasland described the cut as one of several “difficult but necessary choices,” noting that the fund is expected to have approximately 36 billion NOK available by 2027 to support industrial transition projects. Industry representatives have expressed concern that these cuts could act as a “brake on momentum” for the green transition.
