On September 26, the Quang Bi Commune People's Committee officially ordered the termination of service contracts with Thang Long Investment Development and Trading Services Joint Stock Company. Both Quang Bi 1 and Quang Bi 2 Primary Schools paused meal services to allow for a search for a qualified provider.
Following the suspension, Quang Bi 1 Primary School announced it will resume boarding meals on October 5. The school has appointed Daewoo Food Co., Ltd. as the new provider, with a contract running through May 31, 2027. To prevent future issues, the school pledged to increase supervision over food reception, processing, portioning, and sample storage.
