Managing Director Rawdon Glover addressed the criticism, stating that the company is not concerned with winning over critics, as they are not the brand’s intended target audience.

Orders for the Type 01 are expected to open in early 2027, with prices reported to start at approximately £130,000 or $130,500. Production is scheduled to begin at the Solihull plant in the UK in 2027, with deliveries anticipated in the second half of that year.
