Procedural disputes continue, including an appeal by Cristina Álvarez to annul the September 8 preliminary hearing on the grounds that a 24-hour notice period violated her right to defense. Additionally, the defense led by attorney Jaime Campaner maintains that the indictment is ineffective due to a failure to meet the clarity and conciseness requirements of the Criminal Procedure Law and the Organic Law of the Jury Tribunal (LOTJ).
