On 1 August, he told the Münchner Merkur the melody is “fantastic” and he intends to submit it to the next Eurovision Song Contest.

His daughter Giulia posted that he is recovering at home and hopes to be fully back by the end of the following week, while he continues regaining strength and mobility.
