Toyota is refining its rollout strategy for a total limited production run of approximately 500 units, implementing a selective owner approval process similar to the Lexus LFA to ensure the cars are driven rather than held as static collections. Recent testing at the Nürburgring has highlighted the development of the GR GT3, a circuit-only racing car designed for the FIA GT3 category. Utilizing a “race car first” design philosophy, the GR GT3 shares over 80% of its components with the GR GT road car, a significant increase over the 25% commonality seen in previous models like the Lexus RC F GT3.
