These include suspected irregularities regarding private construction works at his property involving a contractor with numerous PJ contracts, questions regarding the storage of a seized trailer from ‘Operation Pacoba’ with a private contractor, and alleged failures to submit asset declarations. Neves, who is currently facing three criminal inquiries, maintained he has never harmed the state and refused to resign, stating he would only leave if the Prime Minister deems it necessary or if the Government falls.
