Kallas emphasized the need for enhanced intelligence sharing and noted that the EU is finalizing its most extensive sanctions list to date, alongside efforts to dismantle Russia’s oil transport shadow fleet.

Recent provocations reported within a 48-hour window include flares fired at a Danish military helicopter and a drone intercepted by NATO jets in Lithuania. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned these actions as ‘irresponsible and dangerous’ parts of a broader pattern of Russian aggression.
