Under this proposal, offenders would be prohibited from applying for a new license for three years and would face fines ranging from approximately 1,946 to 4,325 lei.

Recent large-scale actions coordinated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs resulted in over 10,800 contraventions and the seizure of 620 driving licenses within a single 24-hour period. Regional enforcement has utilized drones, radar systems, and speed measurement devices to target speeding, driving under the influence, and irregular pedestrian crossings.
