To address climate change, the Ministry is conducting feasibility studies to protect vulnerable Nile Delta coastal areas, specifically near the Rosetta and Damietta branches, using eco-friendly, natural materials to combat sea-level rise and erosion. Parallel to these domestic shifts, Sewilam continues to engage in international water diplomacy, participating in sessions regarding the ‘African Water Vision 2063’ and the 2026 Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum to address regional water scarcity and non-conventional resources.
