Tsai compared urban governance to navigating a ship and noted that Shen’s national security background would assist in identifying potential crises. Shen stated his vision is to transform Taipei into a global city comparable to Seoul, Tokyo, London, and New York, pledging to focus on child safety, urban planning, and economic vitality.
